Sycamore Canyon is hosting its first ever CHILI COOK-OFF! We’re seeking any and all Corona de Tucson neighbors who make a mean chili to come compete for a cash prize and bragging rights.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 8, DURING THE EASTER EGG HUNT from 10:30 am-1 pm. The event will be held at the Sycamore Canyon Community Park.
CHILI MAKERS
- Register and pay your $10 fee here.
- Make enough chili for all (we are estimating 2 crock-pots worth)
- Have an ingredient list available (just in case of allergies)
- You will be able to have free tastings (but no voting) of your competitors’ chili.
- The Sycamore Canyon Events Committee will split the income raised with the overall favorite 50/50
CHILI TASTERS
- Pay $5 to enjoy one (1) sample of each chili competing. (Purchase your tickets early! Tickets will be $7/person at the door.)
- Vote for your ONE favorite recipe
- Purchase event tickets here. (You will receive an email receipt but no actual tickets. We will check your name on our registration list when you arrive.
Sycamore Canyon will be selling bottled water for $1 and will provide spoons, cups, and napkins at the event.
