Life’s better out here

Nestled near the base of the Santa Rita Mountains, Sycamore Canyon is a beautiful master-planned community offering the perfect blend of solitude, natural beauty, and convenience.

A remarkable total of some 1,100 acres has been set aside as open space. The result is a vibrant community affording homeowners a much-coveted southwestern lifestyle, yet one that cherishes and respects the rare beauty of the Upper Sonoran Desert environment.

Sycamore Canyon is more than a beautiful setting. Three of Tucson’s top builders offer a variety of distinctive, quality homes. In keeping with the strict design goals of the community, architectural themes reflect the region’s heritage of Spanish, Mission, and Southwestern traditions.

Distinctive Neighborhoods

Sycamore Canyon consists of several diverse neighborhoods, each with a distinct character of its own. At the heart is the Village Center. It offers areas for active recreation, walking, and public gatherings, and features higher-density residential housing. Flowing outward are the Rural Residential neighborhoods, followed by the spacious Village Estates.

To foster a feeling of community, bike paths and pedestrian walkways follow quiet, tree-lined neighborhood streets. Peaceful trails and pathways meander through the abundant open spaces.

Sycamore Canyon is all this and more, yet the amenities of Tucson are only minutes away. Located west of the intersection of Houghton and Sahuarita Roads, Sycamore Canyon is located within 30 minutes of downtown Tucson.

Live & Learn About our Desert

Located in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains in southeast Tucson, Arizona, Sycamore Canyon Preserve is approximately 1,100 acres of natural open space surrounding the planned community of Sycamore Canyon.

The Sycamore Canyon Conservation Foundation, a private non-profit entity created by the master developer of the Sycamore Canyon master planned community, is affiliated with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona and governed by a Board of Directors.

Delicate Balance Protecting Nature’s Treasures

The Foundation is maintained through contributions from the master developer and the homebuilders. In addition, a small percentage of the homeowners association dues is dedicated to maintaining the preserve.

Under the stewardship of the Foundation, residents are assured that the land will never be modified, changed or infringed upon.
