Join us in this FREE workshop to make and fly your own kite!  The workshop presenter is Bob Ray, who relocated to Tucson from Portland, Maine, in 2006. He is widely know for his kite expertise and for his successful specialty kite and toy store, Northern Sky Toyz, which was a fixture in Portland’s Old Port from 1989 – 2006. Bob has conducted hundreds of kite workshops in schools, camps, and recreational programs. He is passionate about flight and why things fly.

In addition to guiding you to make your own kite, Bob will fly some of his bigger and more intricate kites for all to enjoy. All supplies will be provided in the workshop to make your kites out of Tyvek and fiberglass.
